A look back at the
short history of the Ig Nobels award, which will be handed out later this month. I forgot that Andrei Geim was awarded one of these things back in 2000 before winning the Nobel Prize last year.
"Andre Geim from Manchester, who won the 2000 Ig Nobel Prize in Physics, went on to win the 2010 Nobel Prize in Physics for his research on graphene."
